How was this unknown team from the shady communist state going to perform? Despite losing their opening game 2-1 to Brazil, the North Koreans inspired the watching planet with their perseverance, national pride, and never-say-die attitude – which deservedly resulted in a late consolation goal. As the match wasn’t broadcast live in North Korea, the twittersphere immediately began passing jokes around about how this result was going to be perceived from within the communist state. Will the citizens learn the true result, or be fed a match report filled with propaganda?
I thought that the North Koreans, or the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as they like to be known, should have their own voice. And that voice was DPRK_FA: The Official Twitter of The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Football Association.
